The Generic Pharmaceutical Association wants to provide more Americans with access to generic medicines, working with federal and state representatives to make generics available to everyone.

GPhA provides a comprehensive overview of discussing generic medicines with your doctor and ways to ensure that you make the right choice when choosing medication. Generics are the same medicine as brand name pharmaceuticals; you deserve the right to make an informed decision. By speaking with both your doctor and your pharmacist about generic medicines, you will be better informed on managing your medications and staying healthy.

GPhA hopes to have your support in its efforts to increase generic access for consumers. The association is actively engaged in a consumer education campaign to make the public more aware of the benefits of generic drugs and the existing barriers to releasing more generic medicines on the market.
